After a phenomenal 9-2 performance yesterday, my overall record has now been lifted to 25-15. Sunday will be a much quiter day however, with only 4 games. That at least makes my job a little easier.
Anyways, here are my picks for Sunday, the 14th of November:
Edmonton Oilers vs New York Rangers
I'm a big fan of Henrik Lundqvist. I think he might be the most underrated netminder in the league. Against a young Oilers team, I like my chances in taking the Rangers in this one, especially at home.
Final Score: Rangers win 3-1
Minnesota Wild vs Tampa Bay Lightning
The Lightning are looking like a team that will make the playoffs this season. The trio of Vincent Lecavalier, Martin St. Louis, and Steven Stamkos, gives any defense in this league nightmares. I'm taking the Lightning here.
Final Score: Lightning win 4-2
Atlanta Thrashers vs Washington Capitals
The Capitals will be coming off a loss in this game. After being the Sabres first victim at home, I expect AO to lead the Caps to a big win over their division rival Thrashers, who for the record, have looked excellent this year.
Final Score: Capitals win 5-2
Anaheim Ducks vs Chicago Blackhawks
The Ducks have been hot of late and are cruising after some early season struggles. The Blackhawks, as many expected, are struggling out of the gate having lost multiple key players in the offseason. With this game being at home though, I've got the Hawks.
Final Score: Blackhawks win 4-3
There it is guys, my day 6 picks for the NHL. Hope the few of you who read, enjoyed.
