Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio was asked if he was amused by Michigan players pausing for a "moment of silence" at midfield at the end of the game, an action intended to mock a statement Dantonio made after U-M lost to Appalachian State. When informed of the loss, Dantonio jokingly asked if he should have a "moment of silence" for the Wolverines. "I find a lot of the things that they do amusing," Dantonio said. "They need to check themselves sometimes. But just remember, pride comes before the fall." Then a reporter asked Dantonio about Mike Hart's postgame comments in which he referred to MSU as the "little brother" of U-M. "Does Hart have a little brother or is he the little brother?" Dantonio asked. "I don't know, he's ... that tall." Dantonio placed his hand to his chest to illustrate Hart's stature.

Is it amusing when they kick your a** every year Mark? Yeah, UM lost to App. State, and MSU lost to UM. What's that say about MSU? That's right Mark, shut up. And by the way, you can only wish you're half the man Mike Hart is. By your calculations he's apparently a foot shorter than you, but he has more talent in his tiny little pinky finger than you and your whole team combined. Enjoy that loss. The only bad thing I can say about Hart at this point is that during the press conference on Monday (11/5/07), when asked about the difficulty of the remaining schedule, he said the team knew the beginning of the season would be "tough" just like the end of the season would be "tough." Come on Mike, I think everybody, including the team, coaches and fans assumed the first few games would be a cake-walk. Chad Henne also spoke at the press conference. He said he talked to Tom Brady once and that was during his freshman year. It's nice that Tom reaches out to the QB's at his alma mater to offer support. I guess he's too busy getting super models pregnant. You'd think maybe he could congratulate a QB that destroyed all your college passing records. I know it's uncharacteristic of me to defend Henne, so good luck at the NFL draft, Chad, with the dislocated shoulder and the 50 pound feet. Oh my.

I think Hart is a pretty good running back, not Heisman quality mind you, but pretty good.

But if they ever have an award for the BIGGEST LOUDMOUTH IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL, Mike Hart would win it hands down. The kid is cocky, arrogant, pompous and never knows when to shut up.
