Well, this is my first year picking games online. I don't do it for money, so usually it's a last minute thing I have to do on Friday. I usually pick based on what I already know with little research. I noticed something between ESPN and Fannation's College Pick 'Em. I am doing substantially better on Fannation's.
I'm 95-40 with Fannation.
I'm 58-42 on ESPN.
Is everybody else struggling like I am b/c this is a crazy year, or am I too much of a noob for the pick 'ems?
Stewart Mandel is 50-30 for the season tho, so I'm not doing that much worse than him.
How's everybody else doing?

You're crazy man. I do pick the dawgs every game regardless of what I think; I would feel wrong if I didn't. I bet it's easy being an Ohio State fan when deciding whether to pick your own team.
More often than not, I pick the team that I don't want to win. I attribute that to the underdog syndrom where everyone roots for them.

I'm awful with the FoxSports college pickem spread (only about 48%), and I can't sem to find a validity with the favorites and underdogs. I think they have found some recent trend with the UGA/Auburn rivalry, though. Games on the road favor the road team (AU is 18-9 in Athens), but UGA stilllooks like the better team...BUT!!!! the dogs are just two point favorites, meaning that Vegas likes Auburn. Can't say I say I disagree. Expect a crazy, classic finish like two years ago.

Yeah, Auburn was actually my preseason pick for a UGA loss (along w/ Okie St., whoops).
I would have to say that UGA's offense looks better, but that Auburn D looks much better.
This one should be a good one again, I agree.
