The Patriots, as you all know, are the only undefeated team in the NFL thus far. After beating the Colts the undefeated talks are getting even more heated. This team could possibly defeat the '72 Dolphins. They have all the assets needed to get there. They have a great quarterback, an unbelievable receiving corps that makes up for the inconsistency at running back, one of the best offensive lines, they have great linebackers, one of the best defensive ends in the league, a great run stopper in the middle, one of the best cornerbacks, and a skilled safety. Here are some more reasons why they will be undefeated:

1) They showed they can come back in the fourth quarter against the Colts. Coming back late in the game and never losing heart is possibly the most important thing to have in a team.

2) Bill Belichick already has three Superbowl rings. This will give him more reason to keep the starters in against the Giants because he has experienced the Superbowl three different times and will most likely be willing to go for a new goal. Also, has he taken his starters out early in any games this season? That's what I thought.

3) Their toughest games are against the Ravens, Steelers, and Giants. First, the Ravens, the Ravens gave up 38 points to a Steelers team that has a far less potent offense than the Patriots. Another thing is the Raven's offense turns the ball over often. Last, the Ravens give up an average of more points than they score. Now on to the Steelers. The Patriots are fotunate enough to face this talented team in Gillette. Also, the Steelers have a very good defense, but they have faced weak teams, week 1 they faced the Browns (with Charlie Frye), week 2 they faced the Bills (with J.P. Losman), then week 3 they faced the 49ers, week 4 they faced the Cardinals (and lost!), then they faced the Seahawks, then they lost to the Broncos, then the struggling Bengals, and then the Ravens. Now the Giants. The Patritos can easily win this game if they put their starters in and actually try. The Giants have a good record, but they are in the NFC and everyone knows it is much easier to win in the NFC than the AFC. The Patriots are just a better team than the Giants.

4) The defence showed they can hold up their own in crucial times during the game at Indy. They managed to reach Manning when they had to and they covered the receivers well.
