What a freaking game! WHAT A GAME!!! What an impressive win by our ARIZONA CARDINALS! The atmosphere was just so pumped since the tailgating! Hell of a tailgating story I have to share with you guys too! So let me get started!

First of all, the weather was just awesome today. Not hot, but not cold. Juuuuuuuust right. Anyway there we are me, my bro, and our buddies just tailgating in the parking lot, eating our steaks, drinking beers. Then I look up to my right and guess who is there? Michael Bidwill! Michael freaking Bidwill, the president of the Arizona Cardinals, son of owner Bill Bidwill! He is there shaking everyone's hand! When I saw him I had a WTF moment! I saw him and said... no way... OH MY GOSH ITS FREAKIN MICHAEL BIDWILL!! So he comes over to our area and shakes our hands and asks us if we are enjoying ourselves. Dude that caught me totally by surprise. Im sure he was out there to do some PR work and do some damage control because before the game we were 3-5. So everyone gets pumped and we are all excited for the game!

As for the game, the first quarter was another slow start. We are near midfield when on second down, Warner throws to Larry Fitzgerald who in in double coverage and he gets picked off. A couple of plays later the Lions manage to score and take an early 7-0 lead. Then the cardinals manage to drive the field and we manage a field goal. We didnt score a touchdown in the first quarter, and we have yet to score a touchdown in the first quarter all season. Second quarter comes along and WHAM! Offense starts clicking. We had a great balance of pass and run. We march it to the goaline and Warner connects with Fitz for a touchdown! 10-7 Arizona! On our next possesion, Tim Rattay(he is in for our goal line package) manages to connect with a wiiiiiide open Leonard Pope for another touchdown! At the half, Cards leading 17-7. Second half rolls around and the defense, as they did all game, manhandled the Lions. They punt the ball and Steve Breaston returns it for a killer gian, almost taking it to the bank. But thats ok cus we cap the drive off with a touchdown! 24-7 Arizona! Then after a great defensive outing and a fumble recovery, We manage to score again off of a Larry Fitzgerald touchdown pass from Kurt Warner! The final score, Arizona 31, Detroit 21!

What a game. The fans were freaking loud ALL game. The defense played phenomenal! The game was not as close as the score makes it out to seem because Detroit scored a touchdown late in the game when there was no hope of catching up. Man, the defense totally stopped the run against the Lions! The Lions ended up with -18 yards rushing! Thats right, NEGATIVE yards! Darnell Dockett played like a beast. Rolle actually had a very good game. Another solid game by Calvin Pace, and Karlos Dansby is backsby!!!!

After Warners crappy opening drive, he really settled down. Great game by Kurt, and awesome game for Tim Rattay when he came in on goal line packages.

Edgerrin James was a beast! Yeah he only had about 60 yards on some 17 carries, but they were quality yards. Like each touch he had was about a 5 to 7 yard gain. And man his cuts were super sweet. The man is the best cutback runner I have seen in a long time. JJ Arrington and Marcel Shipp also had some quality carries. Great job by the running game as it really opened up the passing game. Great work by the o-line!

Leonard Pope! We finally learned how to use him! 2 TDs for big Leonard Pope! Yeah he had a fumble later in the game, but that is forgiven cus he had a really good game.

Larry Fitzgerald looked like the Fitz that we know and love! great game for Fitz as he too also had 2 TDs.

Steve Breaston. MONSTER game. All game long Breaston put us in EXCELLENT field position. This boy could be a Devin Hester type player. I swear on each of his returns he was only one block away from breaking loose and scoring on all of the returns!

Great game by my Cardinals. Thats how you freaking play the game! We dominated TOP, we dominated on defense, and we dominated on special teams. Detroit looked VERY one dimensional.  And if the Seahawks lose tomorrow against the 49ers, the Cardinals will once again be tops in the NFC West as we hold the tiebreaker over Seattle! Imagine that, top of the NFC West with a 4-5 record. Shoot, we will take it anyway we can! KICK SOME **** SAN FRAN!!!
