Where are all the BuckNuts at?  You relinquish the top spot, and I don't see a single blog, anywhere.  Is that how it works with fans of Ohio State?  All or nothing?

Anyways about the game - the fumble.  I heard this last night for all of about 2 hours, then everyone simply vanished.  It was at home, why didn't the review booth review it?  Why didn't "The Senator" call a timeout and make them review it?  One slip up, and a missed call is all it takes for you to lose a game?  Where were all the penalties at?  Week in and week out, every big play that happend in the shoe was called back for a holding or who knows what else. A big percentage of big plays came back for the opposing school.  Then there were hardly any penalties at all last night and Illinois all of a sudden could keep some momentum going in their favor.

I've also heard "well this is a hard stretch of games we've been through the last couple of weeks."  That may be so, but now you may realize how the SEC feels.  They have a 4 - 5 week stretch of nothing but ranked teams and it seems like it every year.  Even the PAC-10 has a stretch of ranked teams and good competition they have to go through for a couple of weeks.  But not the big 10.  Michigan State, Penn State, Wisconsin, Illinois is hardly a run.  No team of the list is ranked as of yesterday.  Wisconsin might get a 25 spot for the win over Michigan.  Either way I don't want to dwell on the schedule.

Bottom line, I came on here to read some exuses to why Ohio State lost - and there was absolutely nothing.  There was more exuses after the loss to Florida, and you could have have them 21 pts of exuses and they still would have been dominated.  Ohio State, you can't be more speachless than after the Florida game can you??

You say, "You relinquish the top spot, and I don't see a single blog, anywhere. Is that how it works with fans of Ohio State?"

Well, I'm here. That's right. Mr. Buckeyedude. I ain't running away from anyone. I can take the heat. But, what is your real motivation?

I think your real motivation is to kick the Buckeyes and it's fans and players when they're down. Also, you couldn't wait, along with the rest of the world/nation for Ohio State to fall. We can take it. That is part of being #1. Any up and coming team, like Illinois for example, looks at beating the #1 team as a "statement." Illinois had nothing to lose.

I give Coach Zook and the Illini players a ton of credit. They are a damn good football team, and I am still flabbergasted at how they lost to Iowa especially, but also Michigan and Missouri.

I mean, Illinois beat Penn State, Wisconsin and #1 Ohio State! Watch out for this team in the future. I think they may surpass Penn State as the challenger to the "Big Two" in the Big Ten.

Now, if you want to scream and holler "the Big Ten sux," "Ohio State sux," "Ohio State hasn't played anybody" how do you expect anybody to want to listen to that typical SEC garbage? Your mind's made up, and there is no point in anybody listening to you.

If you want to be objective, and by that I mean looking at the statistics of SEC and Big Ten team's overall record in the bowl games, then maybe people will listen to what you have to say.

Otherwise, yous guys can just talk to each other and pump each other and your conference up, because I won't listen to you.

Because I brought up the Florida example, I'm automatically a SEC fan. I never once "pumped up" the SEC. I simply went back to OSU's last loss. You think I'm a SEC fan for posting this? I simply wanted to hear what OSU fans really had to say about the game (you didn't answer one question from the blog) but instead, you take it all the way around and bring it back to the SEC.

Let me ask you something since you're a strong standing OSU fan. Do you really think your schedule was worthy of a National Title. And I know if you're #1 and undefeated you go to the title game. But can you honestly look at that schedule and say - "We deserve this."

You may have a shedule that has no ranked oponents in it at years end. Michigan loses 2 in a row, and I'll bet even they are out of the top 25. As a matter of fact, Ohio State may be the only top 10 team to NOT play a BCS eligible team.

They got manhandled by Illinios, I don't really know what their fans could say, I'm just glad the title game might be halfway decent this year as long as Kansas looses to someone. Hopefully it's LSU and ORegon, from the two top conferences........it is kinda funny all the Ohio State fans are so quit after talking soo much about how their team wasn't overrated.

I really wanted them to fall because I have issues with their schedule. A few years ago, when they at least played Texas, I could deal with the ranking.
