After going 9-4 two weeks ago, I went a below average 7-6 last week.  For the year, I'm at 84-45, which dropped my percentage down to 65.1 %.  Most of that was me being stupid like saying that the Chiefs could beat the Packers, but some of that was the week being a little crazy like the Chargers losing to the Vikings.  Either way, I'm hoping to pull my win percentage up this week.

Broncos @ Chiefs

The Broncos are going to run the ball against the Chiefs, but the Chiefs defense has played lights out thus far.  As for the Chiefs offense, even with Larry Johnson hurt, it doesn't take much to run the ball against the Broncos.  I remember watching the Denver defense a couple of years ago and saying, look at the speed of that defense.  They used to swarm to the ball, they used to tackle so well, and they used to cover so well, but now they can't do any of those things.  A couple of years ago, those Denver linebackers were the heart of that defense.  The loss of Al Wilson hurt them a lot more that I thought it would.

Bills @ Dolphins

How many of us expected the Bills to be 4-4 headed into this game.  Dick Jauron is a hell of a coach to be doing this with the talent he has at Buffalo.  Anyways, the Dolphins suck.  The one positive for the Dolphins has been the offensive line and Ronnie Brown, but Ronnie Brown is hurt and the Dolphins' offensive line has a scrub behind center.  The Bills offense has that big play capability of Lee Evans and the Dolphins secondary has been burned time and time again.  I say the Bills win easy as Lee Evans has a huge game.

Vikings @ Packers

The Packers are very lucky to have the record that they have and the Vikings would be 0-8/1-7 if it weren't for Adrian Peterson.  This game will come down to whether the Packers can slow down Adrian Peterson.  The way I would play the Vikings is have nine guys in the box and play straight up man to man on the outside.  The Packers have the cornerbacks to do that and the Vikings don't have the receivers or the quarterback to take advantage of the man to man on the outside.  That's how I think the Packers will slow down Adrian Peterson.  As for the Vikings defense, it relies on negative plays like turnovers and sacks.  I think the Packers offensive line is too good to allow Brett Favre to turn into a punching bag, and that's why the Packers win in a really close game.

Browns @ Steelers

The Browns offense has played really well this year, but the defense has played horribly.  The Steelers are the 3rd best team in the NFL right now and the Steelers defense is making plays left and right.  I have continued to say that Derek Anderson is overrated and he'll show that this week against the Steelers.  The Steelers have the best defense in the NFL and they will eat Anderson alive.  That should force Anderson into some mistakes.  As for the Steelers offense, anyone can move the ball against Browns defense.  I expect Willie Parker to have a huge game.  I like the Steelers big.

Rams @ Saints

The Saints have played pretty well of late and the Rams have played terrible all year.  The Rams have no shot to win in this game as the Saints.  The Saints defense has played pretty well and the offensive line of the Rams has been dreadful.  The Saints will re-establish the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.  Even though the Rams defense has been okay, they'll still get killed by the Saints explosive offense.  I like the Saints in a blowout.

Jaguars @ Titans

The Jaguars are a fraud.  They're supposed to be this physical team that smashes opposing teams in the mouth, but over the past few weeks, they've been smashed in the mouth.  The Titans are a team that does smash other teams in the mouth.  The Titans--like they did in Week 1--will run the ball at will against the Jaguars and the Titans defensive line is one of the best in the league.  That defensive line will destroy Quinn Gray as the Titans win comfortably.

Eagles @ Redskins

The Eagles are not playing well and the Redskins could easily be 3-5.  The Eagles offense hasn't been able to throw the ball down the field and the offensive line hasn't playied very well.  However, that Eagles defense has played pretty well.  The Redskins defense has really carried them to the record they have.  This game will be a slugfest where both defenses have a lot of success.  I think the Redskins will come out on top because they're playing at home, but the Eagles could very well come out on top.

Falcons @ Panthers

This is a matchup between two bad football teams, but the Falcons are worse than the Panthers.  The Panthers have a decent defense, but when David Carr plays, their offense becomes the 2006 Raiders.  Although I like what Bobby Petrino is doing there, the Falcons don't have a shot.  The Panthers have been able to run the ball and that Panthers defense will make Joey Harrington look like Joey Harrington.  If Vinny Testaverde plays, then the Panthers win easy, if Carr plays, the Panthers win in a really close game.

Bengals @ Ravens

This is a game that features the immovable force vs the unstoppable object.  The Ravens can't score on anyone and the Bengals can't stop anyone from scoring.  The Bengals offense has been moving the ball all year, but they've also been turning the ball over.  That's why I think the Ravens get some big plays on defense and that gives them some scoring opportunities.  As for the Bengals defense, I think the Ravens should have an okay day(for them) moving the ball.  That's why I like the Ravens to win the game, but I think it'll be really close because the Bengals will move the ball a little bit.

Bears @ Raiders

This is a matchup between two offensively challenged teams.  Neither team can stop the run and neither team has a quarterback.  However, the Raiders have had success running the ball and they've had success stopping the pass.  The Bears can't run on anyone and the Raiders are no exception.  The Raiders are also playing at the black hole, which is a tough place to play.  That's why I think the Raiders win comfortably.

Lions @ Cardinals

The Lions have been able to move the ball pretty well, but the Cardinals have a pretty good defense.  The way to attack the Lions offense is to blitz like hell and that's what the Cardinals do pretty well.  The Lions defense relies on negative plays like turnovers and sacks.  Kurt Warner can't be a starter in this league and the Lions defense gets some turnovers.  However, I still think the Cardinals will be able to move the ball down the field as the Cardinals win in a close game.

Cowboys @ Giants

This is going to be a great game.  This is a battle between two very good teams and this is a division game.  It gets no better than this.  I think the Cowboys defense can do a decent job of stopping Brandon Jacobs and the Cowboys defense should also be able to put some pressure on Eli Manning and force Eli into some mistakes.  However, the Giants are also going to get some big plays down the field against a terrible Cowboys secondary.  That's why I think the game will come down to whether the Cowboys can stop the Giants pass rush of Mathais Kiwanuka, Osi Umenyiora, Michael Strahan, and Justin Tuck.  That Cowboys offensive line is one of the best I've seen and that's why they're able to slow down the Giants pass rushers and that will allow running room for Marion Barber and allow Tony Romo to throw the ball.

Colts @ Chargers

The Colts are going to have a little bit of a letdown this week after an emotional loss to the Patriots and they're going to San Diego to play a Chargers team that needs to win.  That's why I think there's a legit possibility of the Chargers springing an upset.  For some reason, the way the Chargers play defense really frustrates Peyton Manning, but that Chargers secondary will get burned by Reggie Wayne, Marvin Harrison(if he plays), and Dallas Clark.  As for the Chargers offense, they should be able to have decent success moving the ball against a pretty good Colts defense because the Colts defense will be tired from that emotional loss.  However, the Colts just have too much offense.

49ers @ Seahawks

This is a matchup between two bad teams; however, the 49ers are dreadful.  The 49ers can't do anything on offense.  That's bad news when you're facing a Seahawks defense that can really get after the quarterback.  That's why the Seahawks abuse Alex Smith.  As for the 49ers defense, their front 7 has played pretty well, but their secondary is absolutely horrible.  They need young guys that can play and hit in the back 4.  The Seahawks have a pretty good passing attack and Deion Branch should have a huge day.  I like the Seahawks easy.
