Offense

Tashard Choice finally got his chance and he made the most of it.  This should get him out of JJs dog house that he has been in because of the fumble against the Redskins during the 1st game of the season.  Receivers are doing a good job of catching the passes thrown to them by Kitna.  Kitna has done a great job of filling in for Romo and we would have a quarterback controversy if he was younger.  This is a guy that 5 years ago predicted that the Lions would go 10-6 and a lot of people made fun of him.  This only showed how a great competitor and leader he is.  The offensive line did a great job except for the goalline stand by the Colts.  Leanord Davis continually got burned because he was not firing out.

Defense

What has happened to D. Ware and Spencer?  No sacks against a make shift O-line. Ware needs to adjust to quarterbacks no longer dropping as deep, so he doesn't have that angle to turn the corner.  Ware has been rushing too deep and going by behind the quarterback.  He needs to adjust by developing  a spin move or a rip move to the inside that initially looks like a speed rush.  The Cowboys need to put more pressure on the quarterback because Jenkins and Newman need all the help they can get.  Fortunately for Newman that the Colts put the worse receivers to his side and unfortunately for Jenkins that Wayne was on his side.  Good job of stopping the run, but the Colts don't have much of running game.  Lee did a great job of coming with 2 ints and Scandrick and Sensabaugh each had 1 to help the Cowboys win.

Special Teams

It's hard for Buehler to kick those field goals with the strength that he has in his legs.  When he kicks it hard, he might over cook a draw and he pushes if he kicks it easy.  But he is kicking kickoffs for touchbacks which is definitely a plus.

Coaching

Garrett did a great job of calling plays by staying with the hot hand.  Finally!  Defensively, the coordinator is doing a great job with what he has.

Are you serious about Choice being in the dog house because of 1 fumble? Jerry needs to get over himself!! If that's the case, there shouldn't be a receiver playing with all of the drops, fumbles and tipped interceptions.

Owner, OK it's his team. GM, there are better GMs out there. But isn't a GM supposed give the coach the players for the coach to decide how to use? By the way, where are the players from the 09 draft? Jerry would have already fired a GM with his track record.

Great analysis...

UnBiasedPerspective, last week there were some reports out of the Dallas media that this was one of the reasons that Choice wasn't seeing more action. JJ on his radio show said that Choice hadn't gotten more carries or opportunities because Choice had made zero impact on special teams.

It's so frustrating. If Jerry would just admit failure and hire a good GM, we could be winning again! He doesn't draft well, he pays players too much too soon and can't pull the trigger when he needs to.

I really liked Wade, but Jerry kept him 3 games too long. I he had put Garrett in there when the writing was on the wall, the Cowboys might be in playoff contention now...
