... jumping up and down at the Black Out Saturday. I didn't get to the game until right before the players ran out on the field. I didn't see the captains come out in the red unis, but Sanford Stadium was rockin' when the players burst out in the black jerseys. A lot of the players ran to the west end zone (the section I was sitting in), and I was jumping up and down b/c I was fired up. I slipped on the metal seat bleacher thing, and now my ankle is swollen. You know what? It was worth it. I called the interception before Brandon Cox threw his first one.

I think Ohio State lost to Illinois b/c they saw Michigan lose earlier. There was a Michigan fan in my tailgate, and when told about the Michigan loss or soon-to-be loss, he attributed that to Michigan being really focused on OSU. Not to be outdone in the "we're looking past our current opponent," Ohio State refused to give Michigan the emotional edge. This is all very ludacris (ever since the rapper came out, I always forget if I'm spelling it right) of course.

If Tennessee and Georgia both win out in the regular season, then Georgia will probably go to a BCS bowl b/c LSU would likely beat UT.

They announced OSU losing to Illinois on the speaker system in Sanford, and everyone cheered. I was kinda confused by that b/c we ain't got no beef against OSU. In fact, I like OSU even better now after having a semi-rivalry with UF. I guess people just root for the underdog.

I think the entire nation was rooting for the Buckeyes to lose.

Oh well, they have a very young team and still can get to a BCS bowl, if they beat Michigan. But I ain't making any guarantees. Especially after seeing how helpless our defense looked. Pitiful.

That was just a good Illinois offense who was probably more pumped up than the Buckeye D. That spread option is hard to stop sometimes too. I think that buckeyes will probably make it into a BCS bowl. I'd like to see a Big 10 team represent in a BCS bowl, and OSU looks like the best team to do it this year.

I was one of 'em. They've been coddled long enough in the college football world. It's good to see them get suker punched a little bit. See ya at the Outback Bowl (as I predicted the Buckeyes would end up).

Yeah, I saw something like this happen at a Walton-Roswell football game I went to a couple years ago. They had to build about 400 more seats in the stands for the playoffs, so they used the cheapest aluminum bleachers money could buy. Anyways, an older guy was going to sit on a row by himself, and when he sat down, the whole row flipped under him. Easily the most unintentionally funny thing I've seen at a sports event...well..that and a FanCam incident.

I hope you weren't too embarassed when you fell on ****.

Ohio State was longer @ #1 than any other team this year. And how long did your Georgia Bulldogs stay there?

I don't see how there can be any true "rivalries" in the SEC when you have them cheering for each other. You are a case in point. You don't list your team, but you say you're a fan of the SEC. What a coward.

You don't have any balls dude, I'd bet on it.

I would NEVER cheer for the Wolvereenz. THAT is a RIVALRY!

I guess you only need a pulse to get into Ohio State, because there's a picture and a team name...C'mon, give it another try...........Who is it??........It's tricky, but don't think too hard......I know you got the internet...

Here's a hint: that's the skyline of Atlanta in Deep South Sider's profile pic. There ain't no buildings that tall in Athens, Ga.

Be careful with spitting the Bulldog/SEC hate on this blog when I was nice to Ohio State and the Big 10. I like the Big 10, but that conference does seem a little flat this season, but maybe some bowl wins against good opponents will prove everyone wrong.

Buckeye dude are you crazy theres no rivalries in the sec. Every game is a rivalry in the sec.
