He traded 50-goal man Bobby Carpenter after his most productive season because Carpenter had a argument with him. He let Scott Stevens go along with Kevin Hatcher, when those two were the league's top-paired blueliners. He has never realized that teams that win the Stanley Cup are built from the goal out. He tries to get by with mediocre goaltending, a strategy that has never worked. He had the league's most talented players and NEVER won the big game. Look at his record and show me where he ever won a big game.
