So everyone (including SI) does the list of bests and worsts at the end of the year. Lacking any originality (or good sense) I'll do so too.
Good Stuff:
Shaun White and Lindsey Vonn rose to the occasion at the Winter Olympics
Drew Brees won the Super Bowl with talent, guts and class.
Butler nearly pulled off a bigger NCAA basketball upset than Villanova in 1985.
Paula Creamer won the U.S. Open with a taped up thumb (and looked gorgeous doing so).
Martin Kaymer and Rory McElroy showed the future of pro golf isn't named Tiger.
Penn State Volleyball won its 4th straight NCAA championship and UConn women's basketball passed UCLA men's win streak (although women's basketball is still uninteresting).
Best of All:
THE SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS WON THE WORLD SERIES!
Bad Stuff:
Tiger Woods slept with **** and it cost him a gorgeous wife, his golf game and $150 million.
LeBron James proved he has no loyalty.
Jenn Sterger refuses to go away despite the entire world requesting that she do so.
The BCS still is ridiculous. Connecticut? TCU instead of Stanford in the Rose Bowl?
Boise State, one missed opportunity and they lost the chance to prove
that they were better than anyone else.
The NBA. Face it the talent just isn't there. The Lakers and Celtics of the 1980's or the Bulls of the 90's would beat any team today by 30+ points.
The coach of the Jets who tripped the Miami player. Bad sportsmanship.
Derek Jeter. Greed and ego.
Soccer and NASCAR are still boring.
The Worst:
People who cheer for Michael Vick.

Julie Henderson
Kate Bock

Yes, the NBA is boring. But I can see basketball team play at a better level by the guys at my gym than you'll see in the WNBA.
