I admit that was a tough loss at Wisconsin and it kind of made me demoralized. After all the strides the UM defense has made all season they took a step back on Saturday. Once a again a mobile quarterback with a good arm spelled doom for the Wolverines. I haven't really seen or followed him at all this season, but Wisconsin QB Tyler Donovan looked good this week (49 rush yds, 245 pass yds, 1 rush and 1 pass TD). He's quick and fast (outran Shawn Crable who Lloyd Carr claims is the fastest LB he's ever coached) and has a cannon arm. Seriously, his arm was like a cannon. He made some great throws and he barely has a wind-up. That ball comes out of his hands like a rocket. He's got some good receivers (Paul Hubbard and Travis Beckum), but he almost single-handedly picked the Wolverine defense apart. On the other side of the ball, the Badgers totally shut down the Michigan run game. Granted Mike Hart didn't play, but they proved (to Ohio State, hello) that if you stop the run, especially with Chad Henne hurt, you stop the offense. Like I said, Mike Hart didn't play yet he still continued to run his mouth. If you read this blog you know that I've been raving about Hart and the only time I criticized him was last week. That was also for a statement he made. Unfortunatley he's really ending his college career on a downward slide. He's been injured the last half of the season, he's missed games, and he continues to make ignorant comments. Part of it is probably because Carr hasn't stopped him from talking (beginning with the Jim Harbaugh comments earlier this season), but he still needs to learn to talk more with his head and less with his heart. I know he might be an emotional kind of guy, but he can't let that lead him into bickering with people through the media. The US did not boycott the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow due to political reasons: Chuck Norris killed the entire US team with a single round-house kick during TaeKwonDo practice.

I cannot stand Mike Hart for his loud mouth. The dude never shuts his pie hole.

I understand trying to get the troops pumped up, but he is over the top and NEVER shuts up. Llloyd only encourages him.

I would respect Hart a lot more if he wasn't just a punk running his mouth, and not his legs.

I agree with you on Wisconsin QB Tyler Donovan. The dude is only 6 foot tall, and he is one of the best in the Big Ten. I was very, very impressed with his play vs. Ohio State(even though we won).

Hey dude, Musings, check out my blog. I've got a funny joke there that I think OSU and UM fans can enjoy. ;)
