I was very happy with the Florida State Seminoles Bowl victory over South Carolina. It was a good win over former Florida head coach Steve Spurrier as well as it ended a solid season with a 10-4 record. Since their dominance of the late 90s and early 2000s which resulted in 2 national title game appearances and one national title, things haven't been so good for the Noles who haven't had the same kind of performance since then. A lot of different factors have attributed to this, but with this season, they are looking like a championship calibler team once again.
Although Christian Ponder and other Seminoles will be leaving after this year, they will still have great talent returning to include an elite recieving corps, a mobile QB in EJ Manuel, and of course...... that intimidating Nole defense led by the play making defensive back Greg Reid. It has been just an exciting season with a great outlook to future seasons with coach Fisher taking the reins from legendary coach Bowden.
