Welcome to the Best Blog EVER!!! OK. Not really (it is in my mind.) Anyway, let's get started on my weekly blog. This is my first EVER!!! Enough with the emphasis on EVER you guys are probably thinking. Well, I'm sorry in every blog I write the word EVER will be emphasised. Ok, enough silly talk, let's talk sports. On every one of my blogs I'm going to talk about 3 sports NBA, MLB and NFL. First up is NBA.
NBA - well this week I guess I'll start out with Power Rankings.
1 - Boston Celtics
2 - San Antonio Spurs
3 - Houston Rockets
4 - Pheonix Suns
5 - Utah Jazz
6 - New Orleans Hornets
7 - Orlando Magic
8 - Dallas Mavericks
9 - Detroit Pistons
10 - Denver Nuggets
11 - New Jersey Nets
12 - Los Angeles Clippers
13 - Toronto Raptors
14 - Portland Trail Blazers
15 - Cleveland Cavaliers
16 - Charlotte Bobcats
17 - Indiana Pacers
18 - Los Angeles Lakers
19 - Sacramento Kings
20 - Memphis Grizzlies
21 - Atlanta Hawks
22 - New York Knicks
23 - Milwaukee Bucks
24 - Philadelphia 76ers
25 - Chicago Bulls
26 - Washington Wizards
27 - Miami Heat
28 - Golden State Warriors
29 - Seattle SuperSonics
30 - Minnesota Timberwolves
Game of the Day - Boston vs New Jersey = Division Matchup and Richard Jefferson still has something to prove to the organization and fans that even if Vince Carter isn't playing the Nets can still win a game against the big boys.
Key Player(s) - Nets Bench.
Predicton - Nets knock off Celtics 98-93.
NFL - he's out this week. Looks like he'll only get 1,600 rushing yards this season. You guessed it! Adrian Peterson the Vikings superstar. This kid has gotten off to the best start in NFL history. He is a future star and I wish him the best of luck.
Game of the Week - Giants vs. Lions = Two of the top dogs in the NFC facing off to "decide" the 3rd best team in the NFC. Both teams are coming off heartbreaking losses and sare looking for something sweet to get the bitter taste out of their mouths.
Key Player(s) - Eli Manning.
Prediction - Giants win in a thriller 28-25.
MLB - he's going to the Angels. No, the Dodgers. No, the Red Sox. Everyone is talking about A-Rod these days, but let's take a moment to look at some other player who could have an impact on teams like Yorvit Torrealba whom the Mets are looking to sign. He's in his prime and would help the Mets erase the memory of the collapse and get closer to the World Series ring. Another player who we should talk about is Bartolo Colon. The Phillies are looking at him, and I say sign him. He'll help the worn rotation and provide a spark.
Player that will get signed this week - Yorvit Torrealba should get signed by the Mets by early next week.
Well, so long folks, this is the end of my first blog EVER!!! If, you liked it then read again next week, and if you have any comment then e-mail me. The best e-mail will get posted. Bye, and keep reading!
Thankyou Yahoo! Sports for any stats used.
