Hello everybody, sorry for the delay this week in getting these out, I am just kind of baffeled that my 4th edition rankings are still getting more hits than the 5th! Anyhow all comments and criticisms are greatly appreciated!

1. LSU Tigers - 9-1 and they already clinched a spot in the SEC Championship game, a stong feat in a hellacious conference. The Tigers probably wont be tested until that game either. Previous (2)

2. Oregon Ducks - The spread offense is changing college football in a big way and Dennis Dixon runs it better than anyone in the country right now. Previous (3)

3. West Virginia Mountaineers - If the Mountaineers did not play South Florida, this team would only have one loss in the past 3 years. Pat White and Steve Slaton still have a shot at the title. Previous (4)

4. Kansas Jayhawks - I am moving the Jayhawks ahead of Oklahoma because they remain undefeated but I am still skeptical about there schedule. The real test will be last two games of the year, providing they beat Missouri and get a chance to play the Sooners in the Big 12 Championship. Previous (6)

5. Oklahoma Sooners - The Sooners are still the favorite to win the Big 12, The bigger question for them is who will they face in the Big 12 title game? Kansas or Missouri? Previous (5)

6. Missouri Tigers - Missouri is the Big 12 team that is flying under the radar right now but they still have as good of shot to win the Big 12 and gain an automatic BCS Bid as anyone in the conference, plus they want revenge on Oklahoma in a big way. Previous (7)

7. Ohio State Buckeyes - From National Title Game contender to the traditional game against Michigan for the Big 10 title and a trip to the Rose Bowl and lets be honest here no one really wanted to see them get pounded in the title game again. Previous (1)

8. Arizona State Sun Devils - The Sun Devils will take on USC this weekend, it will be fun one to watch.  Previous (10)

9. Georgia Bulldogs - The Bulldogs are hoping that Tenessee will lose one more SEC game for a shot to play LSU in the SEC championship, which would be a great game that could create some more controversy in an already turbulent season.  Previous (11)

10. Virginia Tech Hokies - The Hokies should have been considered the ACC favorite all long, though that isn't saying too much. Previous (12)

11. USC Trojans - With Oregon looking like they will play in the title game, USC looks like they will be slated for the Rose Bowl against OSU or Michigan, they must beat Arizona State this weekend first for that chance. Previous (15)

12. Clemson Tigers - Clemson has been playing some of the best football of any team in the past few weeks, a win against BC this week would secure them a spot in the ACC title game. Previous (24)

13. Florida Gators - Imagine if there was a playoff in college football, would anyone want to play against these guys? While Dennis Dixon of Oregon will most likely win the Heisman can you consider him a better player than TIm Tebow? FAU is up next this week. Previous (18)

14. Hawaii Warriors - Still undefeated, they finally had a decent win against Fresno St. but there schedule is still extremely weak and the BCS computers are punishing the Warriors for it. Previous (14)

15. Texas Longhorns - The Longhorns are 8-2 but does anyone really know how good this team is? Beating Baylor did not answer any questions. Previous (16)

16. Boston College Eagles - The Eagles are starting to fall from the sky, and it doesn't get any easier against Clemson this weekend. Previous (9)

17. Boise State Broncos - The streak is now nine wins in a row.  11/23 vs Hawaii. Previous (19)

18. Virginia Cavaliers - What a way to embarass a team, put up 48 and shut them out in their final home game in a historic stadium, what has happened to Miami? It seems like it will come down to Virginia - Virginia Tech for a spot in the ACC title game. Previous (21)

19. Tennessee Volunteers - The Vols still control there destiny to play LSU in the SEC title game. Previous (20)

20. Cincinatti Bearcats - Cinci still has a shot at a Big East title if they can pull the upset against West Virginia this weekend. Previous (22)

21. Illinois Fighting Illini - The Illini pulled off the upset of Number One, I am interested to see how they play this weekend against Northwestern, either there is an emotional letdown or this team will prove there on there way to the upper echelon in college football. Previous (NR)

22. Kentucky Wildcats - Kentucky has an outside shot to play in the SEC title game if they can beat Georgia and Tennessee. Previous (25)

23. Connecticut Huskies - I had the Huskies at 8 last week, and they deserved to be there then, but a lot of us knew that if the Huskies did lose they would fall further than any other team ranked last week. They are still tied with West Virginia atop the Big East, but how long will that last? Previous (8)

24. Penn State Nittany Lions - The debate to me was which Big 10 Team would be slated here, and out of Wisconsin, Michigan and Penn State, the Nittany Lions were the team I would be afraid of playing the most. Previous (NR)

25. South Florida Bulls - While the fall from number 2 was horrific USF still has some of the best wins of the year and one of the nation's toughest schedules, so they sneak back in to the Top 25. Previous (NR)
