We're only two weeks into 2011 but already the USC Trojans' football program is down two players.

Senior tight end Blake Ayles announced this week that he plans to take advantage of an exception to the NCAA transfer rules that will allow him to play in Miami this season for new head coach Al Golden and former USC assistant Brennan Carroll, who drew Ayles to the Sunshine State.

Wide receiver Thearon Collier, who transferred to USC from Miami in August 2010 after being dismissed from the Hurricanes' football program, is no longer with the Trojans.

For more details, and to find out who might fill their roster spots, keep reading {here}

I think they should give the bowl $ back for those 2 seasons....but a heck of a lot of scholarships should be given back to them by the ncaa....there is simply no reason for that many...the precedent should have been 2! that said.....all of you who are still screaming about USC...I hope you aere screaming just as loud at the ncaa to BE CONSISTENT with ALL teams from now on when it comes to the same violations......& if it so happens to be your team that is in trouble.....I really hope you turn those fingers in that direction too!!! Too many fans NEVER are critical of thier own teams & ONLY critical of their RIVALS!!

That said.....I will ALWAYS be a USC fan....doesnt matter who the coach is or if they are in trouble! My Grandpa in heaven "a true die hard fan" I am sure has a lot of critisisms for our team, like I do....but the spirit of being a fan will never leave us!

SOOOOOO looking forward to the playoffs this weekend! Polamalu...Matthews...Sanchez...... My SC boys have done well this year!! My All Time Favs Troy & Clay are THE TWO BEST DEFENSIVE PLAYERS IN THE NFL right now.....in my own humble opinion!!

Fight on!

Fight On USC-GIRL!
I must say you're right about Matthews & Polamalu - as much as it pains me, as a Ravens fan, to say that. Clay is having a KILLER season though....since Baltimore's out, I say Green Bay all the way!
