As the season winds down, the one thing that is certain is that you can't be certain about anything. By looking at my list, three teams are in the best position to finish at the top; Kansas, Missouri, and West Virginia winning out will leap-frog a lot of teams. Also, Hawaii will easily finish in the top-10 and maybe the top 5 by winning out or they will finish outside the top-25 by losing. My Sun Devils could even make a move, but they have to get past USC to do it. For fun this week, I have bowl projections and the anti-bowl projections for the biggest losers.

These rankings are a little more scientific. I devised a simple formula for each team which was (2 X wins X defeated opponent wins) - (losses X defeated by opponent losses). For teams that beat a Division 1-AA team, the win did not count and is not reflected in the record. And, for teams that lost to a 1-AA team, they were credited with a loss to the worst team in D-1.

  • 1. Ohio State (10-1)(2)                                    1057

LOL. Oklahoma at 5. That's funny.
You're a good man. Check's in the mail.

Watch for the South to win the Big12 and take Kansas/Missouri out of contention. Opens up the possibility of a WVU run for the title.

once again you forgot about Hawaii. i guess some people are just to stubborn to realize a great team when they see it? ill admit, weak schedule, yadda yadda yadda. but the weak schedule is not our fault, all i can think to explain it is that every good team we offer to play us, is just too scared. i mean, why else would you turn up $1,000,000 to play IN Hawaii? and if Hawaii isnt that good, even more so? Scared. thats all. Now we are #12 in BCS and still no one thinks anything about us, maybe if they werent so scared to play us then they could prove their point, but until then, Hawaii is a great team. and your wrong for not putting them in your top 25, Arizona State is as much of a fluke as everyone makes Hawaii out to be. or are they?
