Wow. That's all you can say about this BIG win for the Red Raiders.

Right off the bat, you have to give the Game Ball, MVP whatever you want to the Tech defense. These guys were prepared to play a game, came out hot and kept the Red Raiders on top, even after getting popped late for a few TDs. 106. Again, 106. That is the total number of rushing yards that this defense gave up against OU in the entire game. Last week, UT got that in about 1 quarter. Phenomenal job. And then you can credit the defense with knocking OU's starting QB out on an interception return and then consistantly putting pressure and getting sacks on his backup. That rushing number can't be understated here. With a backup QB who couldn't hit the broadside of a barn when he came in, I figured OU would just start pouding the ball right into the heart of Tech's Swarm defense. But the kids made them keep going to the pass, and of course playing from way behind helped too.

 And credit the offense for a great first three quarters for putting the Sooners in a hole. After Harrell's gift intercetion for a TD, he came back out firing darts to all of the team. Crabtree had another explosive effort and that 60yd catch and run he put on just proves that he should at least be in NYC around the first weekend of December for the Heisman, not to win it because he's too young (according to their popularity contest rules).

 Overall a great game that leaves you wondering where this team was in some of the other contests this year.

 Now its just a waiting game to see where the Raiders go bowling.
