I know he hinted at it at the beginning of the season, but I really didn't think he'd follow through. That's right, the Lloyd Carr era is over. With his annoncement to the AP on Sunday we can finally sing "ding **** the witch is dead." Goodbye and good riddance buddy! I know next season will probably be an unsuccessful transition year, barring a lot of good luck that is, but that's fine with me. Every season with Lloyd was pretty much a crap shoot anyway. Nobody has done less with more talent on a Division 1A team than Carr. Even if they can't get Les Miles, UM is still bound to attract decent talent. Maybe Jim Harbaugh will take the job...just kidding. There hasn't been a brighter day in Ann Arbor in about 10 years. Don't let the door hit you on they way out Lloyd.

Wow! I understand how you feel. Really.

We used to have a guy named John Cooper and he had a hard time beating his #1 rival.

But he is a human being with feelings. Try not to be too hard on the man. ;)
