Be careful what you wish for Mark Buehrle | The Chosen Few's Blog

| 12:21 PM ET 02.11 | I was very disappointed to hear one of my favorite teams the Chicago White Sox , star pitcher made a ignorant , hateful comment to a sports writer regarding Michael Vick . Wishing that he got hurt or hoping something bad would happen to Michael during the season . What Michael Vick did was wrong and he was found guilty for his actions he was sentenced to 24 months in federal prison served his time and said he was sorry for being so foolish . It may take a long time for animal lovers to forgive him for what he did and some may never forgive him like you Mark Buehrle . But for you to wish him ill just goes to show you why children born into certain families are so screwed up when they see and hear the garbage their parents are speaking against another sports figure of another race . This is why we can't put certain issues behind us in this country . Buehrle is a star player for the Sox and even if he felt that way about Vick why verbalize it so that it gets back to the public . If you feel that way Mark Buehrle keep it to yourself don't let your kids and the fans that look up to you hear you say it . Keep your hateful thoughts and feelings to yourself and amongst those that think like you . I don't want to hear about it , or read about the people hate . You lost me as a fan let's see how many endorsements you lose or how many companies who use you to promote their products endorse you and think like you . This could come back to bite you and yours in the ass !

What is the deal about Vick? I am neither an Eagles nor a Mike Vick fan. However, he did his time and served his sentance out. Let him alone and get on with your lives people! What he did was heinous - but he also did what the authorities deemed necessary. He's not going to be anyone's favorite neighbor, but he's not OJ! C'mon - he's a football player and a human being. Get over it and move on... Sheesh! To come out and say you hope someone gets hurt is absolute trash! Give him the chance to prove himself. Whya ren't the haters on Rothlesburger like they are on Vick?? 'Nuff said.
