Here's my best shot, please feel free to voice your opinion on my selections:
PG: John Stockton, maybe the most pure PG ever, he had a decent jump shot, nut it was his court vision which defined his career.
SG: Michael Jordan, the man is named the greatest ever, and was a tremendous scorer, and leader, he was great at not only shooting, but penetration.
SF: Larry Bird, one of the greatest shooters ever, and can also be looked at as a man who gave 100% all the time.
PF: Tim Duncan, the man is not thought of as the greatest, because of his quiet personality, but when it comes to inside play offensively, he is dominant, and he is a great defender.
C: Wilt Chamberlain, the man is the greatest center of all time, he did everything, score, rebound, block shots, he had stats that would just be plain crazy now and days.
PG: Steve Nash, of this era, he is the greatest PG, he finds the open man, and has a great jump shot.
PG/SG/SF: "Magic" Johnson, the man could play any position, and was one of the greatest players ever.
SG: Pete Maravich, one of my favorite players ever, he invented the jump shot, and was one of the greatest shooter/scorers ever.
SF: Charles Barkley, great overall player, great defense, offense, more of an intimidating factor with his tremendous skill on defense.
SF: Julius Erving, maybe the "Jordan" before Jordan, he defined what a penetrator was supposed to do. His high flying, scoring ability is just amazing.
PF/C: Hakeem Olajuwon, All time block leader, had a great scoring ability as well.
PF/C: Bill Russell, if blocks were a stat when he played, Hakeem would be second in blocks, by a lot.
PF/C: Kareem Abdul Jabbar, most points all time, the hook shot, unfortunately he's on my bench, Chamberlain was a better rebounder and defensive player.
My apologizes to the following people for not being on here:
Karl Malone, John Havlicheck, Jason Kidd, Kobe Bryant, Dikembe Mutombo, David Robinson, and others, this is my team of favorite/best players ever.
