I know there is really no chance of this happening but I would be pumped if it did. I know Key Johnson has a bit of an attitude, but what wide reciever doesnt nowadays (remember that punk, Fred Ex...he made WRs and the Eagles look stupid at that Super Bowl). Key has reliable hands, which is what the Saints are going to need this year. Despite the Saints offense having a great offense last yeat, they had a ton of drop balls, and this year, that can make or break their season. It would be great to see him signed for a two years, with him in the slot and Devery Henderson (speedy) and Colston (height/strength) on the outsides. Meachem will need to develop a bit, so he could be a 4th or rotate in for the other guys. With Key, the Saints could also start doing a lot more no-huddle, with Duece and Reggie alternating, and the WRs would be getting plenty of rest (sorry O-line, hold strong!!).
But I know this will not happen, as the Saints probably dont want to spend the money on Key, and probably think they have enough at WR. Oh well, I can only hope, right?

the saints have no need for keyshawn, they have plenty of people to throw the ball to. keyshawn is not a slot receiver even though nowadays he plays more like one.

I am aware they have plenty of people to throw the ball too, I didnt think the Saints had a shortage of wideouts or rbs that can get in the flat. Was just saying what a nice addition he would be as a veteran and a reliable wideout.

We might not need him, but it would be very nice to have him. He is another big physical wide receiver, and Sean would fit him into the offense nicely. I would love to have another key player into this offense. He is an experienced guy, and it would be awesome.
