I have developed a strong love for the sport of baseball at a very young age when i use to stare at the TV, watching my favorite players bat, and how they use to look just before a monster homerun. I am a pitcher on a team that has made it to Little League World Series in a couple differnt years. My favorite team is the Yankees, but I live by the saying of my idol Yogi Berra. Every time I step onto the field, I think of him and what he was preached and done for the baseball world! He has helped me so much calong my long and fun baseball road! At the moment, the player I am most interested in is Jobo Chamberlain. If your not familiar with his story, its online and in SI. The summary of it is that his dad has polio and had to live in a wheel chair. They had a catch everyday, no matter what the weather, but Jobo had to be very accurate because his dad couldnt chase afte the ball. This gave him presision throwing at a very young age. Later on, he developed a faster pitch with a wicked curve. This got him to what he is now, a promising closer. I have high hopes for this kid, and admire his story.
