Okay, when I heard the news I was completely shocked. I thought for sure that Matt Holliday would win the MVP but no, Jimmy Rollins got it. Matt Holliday batted .340 and had more homeruns and more RBI's then Rollins. His team stormed back from a huge defecit to win the wild card winning 19 out of their last 20 games (or something close to that). I hate to say it, but the Phillies only made it because the Mets imploded. They didn't win their division, the Mets lost it. The Rockies had to actually battle for their position becuase the Padres didn't colapse quite like the Mets and they had to pass a bunch of other teams as well. Holliday was a big part of that and a huge reason why the Rockies were good. He should have been MVP. Comments? Stats backing up either Rollins or Holliday?
