Okay, Jon Kitna may be just another run of the mill quarterback. He has only 13 TD's, leads the NFL's worst rushing offense and has been bounced around to many teams. He may not seem like anything special, last year the Lions were 3-13 with him as quarterback, but he seems to have done something with the Lions. I'm not saying he's changed the team, but it seems as if his leadership abilities has helped this once problem ridden team change its ways. On top of that, the Lions are actaully in the hunt this year (despite the fact they've had two bad games in a row) and they haven't sank to the bottom of the NFC north. In fact, they're 3-0 against teams in their division and are holding onto their second spot. Is there going to be football in the January in Detroit? Is Kitna's prediction of 10 wins going to come true? Guess we'll all just have to watch.
Personally, I think that Kitna's prediction was a good thing. What do you think about this? I think it helped energize the team. There's a nice article about Kitna and the Lions if you follow the attached link...
