As we all know the Patriots are having a season to remember and no one on this earth thinks that they have a chace to beat them as the spread is very high up there and deservadly so. I have something wrong with the Pattriots, they run up the stinkin' score.
Last game against the Bills, they went for 3 4th downs in the 2ns half when they were up by at least 28 points. Now come on that is absolutely ridiculous to do that. The Bills had no chance of coming back what so ever.
That was not the only time that the Patriots have done that. There was a couple other games that they did that. I do not like that at all and i am sure Don Shoula does not either.
Alright i just wanted to throw that in there, but here is the preview of the game.
Eagles CB Lito Sheppard vs. Patriots WR Randy Moss
The Patriots will move Moss around, but he will spend plenty of time lined up across from Sheppard. Sheppard won't be asked to handle Moss one-on-one - no one can - but he will have to make sure that he keeps Moss from running past him. After suffering a knee injury in the first game of the season, Sheppard did not look completely healthy as he struggled against Dallas and Washington but he had a key pass deflection in the win last Sunday over Miami. He will get help on Sunday, but with as many weapons as New England has, the Eagles can only afford to shade toward Moss so much.
Eagles DTs vs. Patriots OTs
If the Eagles are to slow down Brady and the Patriots offense they will have to get in his face. Unfortunately Brady is so smart and his targets are so dangerous that blitzing becomes problematic. If Jim Johnson sends a corner, safety or a linebacker after Brady, that leaves someone open, and Brady is a tough guy to confuse. That means that ends Trent Cole and Juqua Thomas will have to get a push against Patriots tackles Matt Light and Nick Kazcur. It won't be easy. The Patriots have done a great job picking up valuable lineman in the draft and neither Light nor Kazcur is a slouch.
Patriots Players To Watch
WR Wes Welker
Welker spent the first four years of his career in relative anonymity, playing a small amount of offense and returning punts in San Diego and Miami. Still, he showed enough that this offseason the Patriots sent a second round pick and a seventh round pick to Miami in exchange for his services. He has blown up this season, and has become one of the most dangerous slot receivers in the league.
DE Richard Seymour
Everyone knows that Seymour is one of the best in the game when he is healthy, but it's unclear how healthy he really is right now. He spent the first seven games of the season on the physically unable to perform list, and since the Patriots are so deep, he has had the luxury of slowly playing his way back in to shape. New England's defense was dominant without him, and if he returns to the form that he has shown in the past, it stands to get even that much better.
That was something little from the Eagles website.
Now as you all know the last time the Eagles and Patriots met was Super Bowl XXXIX when the Patriots won by a score of Patriots 24 Eagles 21.
Now back to these week's game.
I think that for the Eagles to win, they must put pressure on Tom Brady. The Patriots O-Line is very good and that is the reason Brady has all day in the pocket. Without the O-Line, the Pats would not be where they are right now. With pressure on Brady, He cannot do what he has been doing in previous games.
Now when the Eagles are on offense, they must get the ball to one player and one payer only and that is Brian Westbrook. He makes that offense run. Without him the Eagles have no chance of winning this game.
Prediction : Patriots 41 Eagles 16
So the Eagles lose by 25 points and the Patriots stay unbeaten for another week and still can repeat history.
I am sorry, but i really do not want to see the Patriots go 16-0 or 19-0 or even make the Super Bowl. I don't like how they run up the score and i never really liked them before this season. I also do not want Brady to break Manning's TD record. Brady needs 11 TD's to tie and 12 TD's to pass.
This is an all around great year for Patriots fans and a year that you don't want to remember or even look back on.
Hope you liked it.
