First of all, I'll list the 16 teams involved in the tournament that will take place next June.

5. Italy (Defending World Cup Champions)
6. France
7. Greece (Defending Euro Champions)
8. Turkey
9. Czech Republic
10. Germany
11. Croatia
12. Russia
13. Spain
14. Sweden
15. Romania
16. Netherlands
As of right now, I see four teams who could easily run the table if they want to. They are Portugal, Italy, Germany, and France. Then you have the middle pack. Which is Spain, Netherlands, Czech Republic, and Croatia. Then you have the wild cards. Which are Sweden, Romania, Turkey, Greece, Poland, Austria, Russia, and Switzerland. All these teams have great talent, but as of right now my favorite to win the Euro 2008 is the little pony, as Tommy Smyth would say, Italy. The defending champs are very strong and know each other like the back of their own hands. Tune each month for your Euro update.
