What did you think of the Vegas race?

Was it worth watching?

Did you see what you expected?

Did your driver do well or not?

Were you surprised by one team or disappointed by one team?

One make or another?

It was a good race.....but it started too late.....I had to watch the last bit with interruptions.
I thought Tony was going to cry when they interviewed him post race....he was very angry, and could hardly talk.
Was surprised at Kyles' car problems and not surprised to see a Ford win at this trac.Cobgrats to Carl.....and Tony for running so well.

I am finding it very hard to pick drivers for pick em games this year......lots of surprises.....like Jeff Gordon finishing 36th, yet Ambrose 4th and Vickers 10th.....the players are not playing where they should be LOL

Kodiak,,,I have to tell you something......as you know I get a kick out of Mikey's commercials, but that rump shaking one, makes me howl now.......because whenever I see it, I imagine the expressions on your face as you are watching it.......I can almost hear you cringing LOL

Did i call it ;) .... " as for Today in CUP .... got to like the FORD'S .... going with Edwards, ...
best CHEV .... Smoke, ... TOY ....Shirumon ka. "

.... Kodiak ..... Mikey's NAPA commercial ... should Not surprise you ... after all,. DW did the Iggy shuffle in Victory Lane ;)

Disappointed that a penalty had to keep Stewart from winning and crossing Vegas off his racetracks to win at list. It's gonna really cost him once the chase comes around and he doesn't get the 5 bonus points for the chase.

It seems like the latest thing is for these drivers to criticize the pit crews over the air. Yesterday Harvick was all over his Natiomwide guys and today Biffle was going at his guys. The ego has to be under control and they have to realize that these crew members are human beings. I see no reason to put that on the air for the viewing audience to hear. Just a thought. Another random thought, I think the new point system was a good move. The desire to win is unreal now, this system makes a good finish most important. I thought Tony was going to have a fainting spell today in his post race interview.
I got a little heartburn when Kyle went poof and scattered M&M's and Snickers all over the track. Another good finish for Joooonya, perhaps the crew chief swap will pan out.

I didn't or couldn't understand why the Drivers got down on their crews, most of it was stupid little mistakes, and the fuel cans were screwing things up, but it wasn't the crews fault. Amd most of the Top Drivers ended up mid pack at the end. Strange Race!

That's not a bad ratio, close to 3 minutes of race per 1 minute commercial. It does seem like more when you're watching. I think if people realized the huge amounts of money that celebrities receive for commercials, they might have a different outlook on some of them. Mega bucks, that's why they do them. I love Digger. LOL

I like the various winners so far. I like to see the competition, but there isn't a set favorite for the year yet. I'm still rooting for Tony to get a driver/owner champion distinction this year.

Biff made a pretty good point after a couple of pits where it took him over 17 to get fuel in. his claim that everybody else was fueling faster may have been an exaggeration, but he is correct in saying it has to get better.

I never heard whether they determined if Jeff cut down the right front, somebody's splitter got the stem, too much camber or what happened.

But then, I was at a Wings eatery and couldnt hear. (probably a blessing

The radio communications should be limited to the teams. Broadcasting for all to hear is $$ driven for someone, but for fans to be commenting on it is ridiculous. Obviously in Biffle's case, something was not proper. He ran out of gas...what the H did he do wrong...drive too fast?

It was obviously a problem of the "pit crew/crew chief" how can anyone fault him for bitching?

His job is to drive others is to gas up and change tires. Some of you are so freaking "socially correct", it's bothersome.

Well take the broadcasting of the radio communications further, and see how many driver have been fined, publicly, for swearing. What is said between the driver and crew is a private conversation and it is not their fault that TV is taking that conversation and broadcasting it live for all the fans to hear, but they still get fined "Rule 12-A: Actions detrimental to Stock Car Racing".

And that's not counting other teams listening in on rival crew communications.

If I were the teams I'd be scrambling the radios so no one could listen in.

The race was alright, typical 1.5 mile, one car gets hooked up and dominates, long green runs, and little quality racing. although "There's great racing back in the pack" all we see is the leader clicking off laps.
