Well...you were wrong.
Late in the first quarter, Totino-Grace High takes a 7-0 lead over Mahtomedi in the Minnesota Class 4A State Championship on a two yard run by Micah Koehn. Throughout the rest of the game, a defensive struggle ensues.
In the 4th quarter, Mahtomedi, led by quarterback Vaughn Schmid goes on an unbelievable drive, ending on a wild touchdown throw by Schmid, rolling to his left, squaring up, and hitting his receiver while falling backwards. Then, Mahtomedi's first year Head Coach decides to go for two and take the lead. Schmid rolls right, and hits his receiver in the corner of the endzone on an absolute bullet to go up 8-7.
That's when it got crazy.
Less than a minute remaining in the game, the Zephyrs (Mahtomedi) squib the ensuing kickoff, and on the return T-G's star receiver pulls a hammy and leaves the game. T-G then moves the ball to the 50 yard line, with 10 seconds remaining. The next play, Jordan Marshall throws a pass down the sideline, which gets tipped twice, then brought down by Micah Koehn, who concentrated to make the catch, then eluded a defender down the sideline, diving into the endzone with 0 seconds on the clock. Totino wins the State Championship, on a play that you havbe to see to believe.
4OT is nothing compared to a last second high school State Championship victory.

Kansas we saw all year didnt bring their A game, but Mizzou looked fantastic. They better beat Oklahoma or Nat. Championship aint happening with 2 losses.

My school was down by 1 with 2 seconds left at the forty yard line. Our receiver caught the Hail Mary, dove for the endzone, but his knee hit at the one yardline.

I think it would be funny to have a NC with OSU in it again. WV vs OSU would be good...or...OSU vs. Georgia would be HILARIOUS. The downfall of the BCS right there...
