The Indy Car season has started with drivers acting like they had never raced before. Why multiple crashed on the start? Marco Andretti went upside down again (has he set a record for the most flips yet?), & a lot of drivers who should have been competing for the win either were out or ended up finishing 15 laps down like Helio Castroneves who is the one who hit Marco.

Not to mention that a lot of people wanted to see how Sebastian Bordais would look after his debacle in F1, but instead who crashed himself out of the race before it started in practice. Nice going.

It was interesting to note that Tony Kanaan, unceremoniously dumped by Andretti racing (what was Michael thinking?) spent most of the race including the checkered flag in 3rd, driving for a "lesser" team. Great job. And a female driver not named Danica finished 4th. Congrats to Simona De Sivestra for that.

OK Dario Franchitti dominated the race, but is that different than any Formula One race? Notice I haven't mentioned Nascar. I'm an open wheel fan. I'm not interested in taxicabs.

I watched the entire race. I'm one of many Danica fans, but I have to say that watching this race was painful for MANY reasons.

#1, racing on street tracks is STUPID for INDY cars! This one in particular. Lining up for the start and then funneling down to where only one car at a time can go through he first turn was astonishingly STUPID!

These guys are racing million dollar cars in a demolition derby setup! It is amazing owners put up the cash to see their vehicles get destroyed. They should keep INDY CARS on Superspeedways ONLY! Why is it they don???t race at Talledega, or other tracks that could handle 240mph speeds which is what these cars are designed for?

I think these street races in INDY CARS should be stopped, they are not fun to watch, unless you like to see crashed up million dollar machines.

Other than that Simona did great. But needs to be a little more aggressive, she should have got by Tony at the end, and I think Danica would have if she had been in the same position.

Danica however did not get through all of the first turn Malay unscathed as Simona did, and had to put noses on her car twice, luckily for her without ever losing a lap, so that was good for her too.

Overall, I hated watching this race, I hope the next one is better, but since it too is a road course, I think we can expect more of the same idiotic stuff.
