Mayorga is trying to fight in September.. Coming off an impressive loss to Miguel Cotto(lol), Mayorga wants to keep fighting, after saying the total opposite two weeks ago.. .. .. Maybe it's because of the moolah.. Maybe he wants to get some type of belt.. Either way.. He looked good against Cotto.. He's a high proflie fighter, even tho he's not won too many big fights.. The word on the streets is that he wants to fight Chavez Jr. .. We shall see .. Chavez Jr. has a fight this June..I think Chavez Jr. could use a Marque name on the resume'...Chavez Jr owns a middleweight championship as we speak.. ONe thing i do know is Mayorga is not retired.. That is a FACT!

Chavez JR only has a paper title. It was stripped from Martinez. Mayorga won't get that fight because he could win. Top Rank isn't going to ruin that golden goose for a Mayorga payday.

Mayorga fought pretty dam* good.. Too bad he couldn't finish the 12th.. woulda been crunk.. Yeah, i heard he's not doing so hot on money either.. At least he's fighting pretty good.. I agree.. Chavez Jr. would be stupid to fight the vet Mayorga at this stage..
