seriously.. Why NOT?

Facebook tells you when someone has commented after you on a thread..Facebook also sends you an alert telling you who did comment. That would be GREAT for this site.. Would make this site more informative.. Different people, Different visions. Not to mention.. Facebook would be good in other ways for this site.. The Facebook format has a "LIKE" button.. I like the "like" button for this sole reason, it tells alot by not saying anything. It basically says you are in agreement with the word and principal that was just stated by the individual, you just press "like" instead of saying nothing at all.

I also think it wouldn't hurt to have a status on your profile.. Show a lil emotions on this site.. Show your mood.. Spirit about the team or game your gonna watch..  With the facebook format on the "Nation", I think it would serve a great justice.. I think a lot of people would appreciate it. Tune-ups are always good, and hopefully appreciated..I'm telling whoever's REALLY in charge of this page.. We need more alerts, promotion, and easier set up.  Isnt' that what technology's all about lmao :)

Something similar to the Facebook would be very appreciated..

 think i'm joking :)

There's a reason Facebook has a billion peeps lol It's not just all personal broadcasting..

Like the idea Peach.....

Yea, but some posts hundreds or thousands of comments. I'd probably just turn off that option.

Sly Peach, you want to know if Catwoman, Cbook or Sweetness are single.

the auto update on comments would be clutch...i hate hitting refresh

I vote no on the status thing and I vote no on the RSS feed for comments, unless you can turn it off. I also think they should incorporate an "ignore" feature.

I like the fact that you can sign in and check messages and lurk and people don't know you're on.

*evil grin*

I turn that option off on Facebook, so certainly I would turn it off on here as well.

Besides, they haven't done anything to change the site in years, and I doubt they're going to start now.

April 12, 2011  06:25 PM ET

pch, i can't find you on facebook.

April 12, 2011  06:43 PM ET

I'm not a fan of facebook.

April 12, 2011  06:46 PM ET

We should try to promote the site more. I have been here for a few days and already see that a lot of people are leaving and I do not see any newbies doing that many TD's. Promotion would help a lot

Yeah, me either.

I agree, Peachy. They should add the LIKE/DISLIKE buttons. And the alerts are a good touch, especially if you have the option to turn it off on certain people.

it could cut it off after 2 or 3 comments behind yours.. that way there wouldn't be an overload..

You could check if you wanted..

It's on Sports Illustrated to advertise their subsidiary sites. But yes, they should definitely allocate their resources to increase the web traffic. It can't cost them too much to put an ad in their own magazine.

Don't worry about the people leaving. Most of the people who "leave" are still here, they just show up less frequently.
