Mr. Amir Khan (24-1) came into a fight with the Undefeated Paul McCloskey (22-0) to start the evening..

Khan dominated McCloskey, put on a clinic ..  This fight was soo one-sided, and had a controversial stoppage to go along with it. The Doctor stopped the fight after an accidental clashing of heads between the two, in the 6th round. McCloskey had a minor cut in my opinion. It was a Bogus stoppage..

and STILL WBA LIGHT WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD.. Amir KHAN!

After the fight, and at the presser, Khan and McCloskey exchanged words. McCloskey says the stoppage was bullsh8t, and he wants a "bloody" rematch .. lmao ha  Khan isn't having it.. Khan said, " I won every round". Khan isn't worried about McCloskey's two cents over there , Khan's aiming for Timothy Bradley now, and BIGGER pay days.

the REAL FIGHT

was Andre BERTO (27-0) vs Victor Ortiz (28-2-2)

Berto and Ortiz were fighting for the WBC Welterweight title!!! Floyd Mayweather and 50 cent were sitting front row..Floyd was grinning ear to ear during the cameos. But back to the fight, both fighters showed TRUE HEART in this all out war tonight!. Berto and Ortiz threw HAYMAKERS, and both showed alotta resiliency during those 12 rounds. Look at these Total Power Punches by both fighters..

 POWERSHOTS

Ortiz: 266 Landed  ,   570 thrown  ,   47%

 Berto: 115 Landed,   251 thrown  ,    46%

Look at that sh8t.. 46 and 47 percent.. BIG MONEY $$$HOTS

I'm not saying who won.. This is a must see boxing match..I want you to fully appreciate it.. You can thank me later! .. hahah If you saw it then you already know.  It was like 4th of July in April.. lmao I promise this fight will satifsy your boxing needs..

**Emanuel Steward: "______ became a star."

**Dan Rafael of Espn: "the 6th round was THE round of the year!"

DVR BERTO VS ORTIZ!!!!! you'd be stupid if you don't :)PEACE

I fast forward through the interviews in England because I couldn't take that damn air horn any longer. And than later there was like two guys blowing it on Showtime in Puerto Rico, never was prouder to be an American after those annoying ****.

Pch, watch the showtime bouts. More shocking than HBO in my opinion. The stoppage sucked however.

McCloskey thought the stoppage was so bad than he should have tried harder with the doctor. He got his payday and should just go home. Bradley vs Khan is next and that is a great fight and will crown a new jr welterweight champion since Pac beat Hatton and moved on.

Ortiz finally proved all his critics wrong and gutted out a win. Must have gone to Oz and gotten a heart. He needs about a years worth of work before taking on the top guys but at least he the Maidana debacle in the review mirror now.

I think Mayweather might jump for Ortiz.. He likes to take the "easy road" .. .We all know Mr. Handpick was smiling on Saturday..

Zab is fighting at 140 and wants to stay there. He has actually looked pretty good in his last couple of fights. There are more money fights for him at 140. I am hearing if Juan Manuel Marquez stays with Golden Boy [about 50/50 IMO] he will be fighting Zab at 140 as part of a 4 fight deal. I still think he should leave and go fight Pac who Arum said would make it happen if leaves.

He might. Welterweight doesn't have a lot of options at the moment. He might go after the Bradley vs Khan winner because there is talk of Pac wanting the winner [not sure he would fight Khan]. Who knows what is going through his mind. Wasting his talent is what he is doing.
