So the San Jose Sharks beat the LA Kings in 6 games. Three of the wins were in OT. Worse, three of the four wins were in LA. You mean this overrated team can't win at home? And yes, overpaid star Joe Thornton scored the game winner last night. but here's the thing- he only had 4 points in 6 games. From a guy who averages over a point a game in the regular season.

And don't forget Dany Heatley's anemic 2 goals. I still think the Sharks made a mistake in getting rid of 2 D-men so they could afford this stiff. For the record: Heatley has only scored 65 goals in 2 years. We were lead to believe he would do that in one. I think this team would do better in the playoffs if they still had Christian Ehrhoff & Marcel Goc (don't laugh-Ehrhoff was becoming a very good d-man).

So now the team waits to see who they will lose to in the 2nd round. Chicago(who cleaned their clocks in 4 straight last year) or perrenial rival & shark killer Detroit(they will not beat the Wings 2 yrs in a row).

Of course being awake at the start of games would be a good idea, something this team was unable to do against LA.
