| 09:34 PM ET 04.28 | Mel Kiper and the rest of the so-called player hating experts got it right , my bad I mean they got it wrong Cam Newton was picked number 1 in the NFL draft . I hope he makes all the naysayers eat crow when he turns out to be a running / throwing QB even better than Michael Vick . He's big , strong , and smarter than a lot of the so-called experts think , he did something all the rest of the quarterbacks in the draft they felt would go ahead of him didn't do and that's win a national championship . Way to go Carolina give him time and he will pay big dividends for your organization .

Winning a national title doesn't earn you nothin in the pros. Gesshhh Vince Young won a title and look what he has done. Anybody know who the last qb who won a national title and won a superbowl?

I hope Cam does well but I highly doubt he leads the Panthers to NFC title game. Jaws said it best last night. Cam has thrown about 30 nfl qb type passes last year. Your judging a guy accuracy off of 30 throws. Thats crazy to me. Good luck with Cam Carliona.
