#1. Carolina-We all knew this was a great risk. I mean especially for somebody that only played one year of high level collegiate football. Doe the Panthers really want to risk Newton being the cornerstone of this franchise at probably the toughest position to play in all of sports? well I mean obviously if they drafted him.. they must have that much faith in him. But if he is a immediate-letdown from the start of whenever the next season starts, than the Panthers might want consider taking probably a non-risky pick in Andrew Luck in the 2012 draft. That is of course, if they'r the league's worst team again. And if Luck does finish his last season in Stanford off, projected as the #1 overall player. You can't blame Carolina for picking Newton. Hey, I would of done it if I was in this position if I we're them too.
Drafted right Guy
#2 Denver-The need at defensive tackle was far greater, especially with Elvis Dumervil coming back as an out-side pass rusher. But John Fox simply isn't going to pass on a pass-rusher, and he certainly didn't in drafting Von Miller. Pass-Rushers are rarer than Defensive tackles. Unless we're talking about Ndamukong Suh-quality at defensive tackle. And Dareus is no Suh.
Drafted right Guy
#3 Buffalo: In my opinion, Dareus is the only pick they could of made. Anything else would of made them look like idiots. It's a simple as that.
Drafted right guy
#4 Cincinnati: The loss of players Ochocino&Owens is a great loss for this team. No one can criticize the Bengals for drafting A.J Green.
Green will give possible future team franchise player QB Andy Dalton a immediate target to throw to. Unlike, Sam Bradford whom's receiving crop when he arrived as rookie, was nothing. Just average.
This will help this team out even more, not to mention the addition of last year's draft pick in tight end Jermain Gresham.
Drafted right guy
#5 Arizona:
Best corner in the draft by far in Patrick Peterson, a superb pick. You know how much Arizona liked him? So much that even though Blaine Gabbert was the number one quarterback on the Card's board, they never seriously considered him because they loved Peterson so much. But maybe it wasn't such a good thing they drafted him.
You can blame them for this pick.
Should of drafted: Blaine Gabbert: Exactly who they had in mind. But they didn't take him seriously. They should of because they have hardly any depth at the QB position on this team.
#6 Atlanta:
The Falcons were so desperate for Jones.
That they traded down from the #27 spot to the #6 spot just to draft Julio Jones.
Which makes them a even more feared team on offense.
You'r giving all-ready elite NFL quarterback Matt Ryan another dangerous target to pass to. Watch out, Green-Bay this team just made their team a little stronger.
And maybe a better shot at the Super-Bowl by adding Julio Jones on their team.
*Drafted Right Guy*
#7 Sans-Fransisco:
Everyone's surprised about Aldon Smith at 7, but clearly the Niners thought Smith was the second best pass rusher in the draft, behind Miller. I don't know how, but if somehow Von Miller slipped down to this position, I'm 100% convinced they would of took him.
Because if they'r going to draft the 2nd best pass-rushers, of course they would draft the #1 overall pass-rusher.
*Drafted Right Guy*
#8 Tennessee:
Jake Locker going #8 stunning. Just stunning. Although, I do see desperate need for a quarterback.
And with all the uncertainty about Vince Young even having a starting QB job next season, they'd be in deep need.
And there is just no way Kerry Collins is going to cut it for starting Quarterback, not in this league, or era. (Sorry Collins)
#9 Dallas:
I disagree with this. Tyron Smith. Yeah, they'r in need of a lineman but their running game was the real problem last season.
They hard a hard time scoring last season. It was because that they don't have a balanced enough offense. Dallas isn't one of those team's that passing game is perfect *cough New England*.
*Should of Drafted Mark Ingram*:
Marion Barber isn't going to get the job done. The Boy's have gaven him to much time to develop and I say his time is up. This could cost them a little.
#10 Jacksonville:
They took Blaine Gabbert. I don't think he's worthy of a top 10 NFL QB draft prospect, and a lot of people don't give David Garrard enough credit. He's as good as they come. And if they wan't to continue to compete at a high level in the AFC Central, I suggest they keep Garrard at starting QB. Also, if you think about it, it benefits Gabbert later on in his career. Hence: He will get time to develop his skills over time by watching Garrard.

NEW YORK-After NFL COMMISH Roger Goodel got booed by NFL football fans. And hearing chants of "WE WANT FOOTBALL, WE WAN'T FOOTBALL", the Carolina Panthers selected Cam Newton with the #1 overall draft pick. Sure, he won the Heisman trophy, he won the National Championship in his only season in high level college football but none of that really seems to impress me enough.
There's no doubt Newton put up incredible numbers as the Auburn Tiger quarterback this past season, but there's just no way he's going to put those numbers up in his rookie season. Or any season he might play in the NFL. I think we can agree on that let's just say maybe Cam Newton has already lived his year of fame at the Collegiate level. Ryan Mallet who wen't in the 3rd round of the draft might seem like a more safe pick. Although, you can't blame the Panthers for picking Cam at this #, he still comes with a lot of questions. You can say that Newton has been a winner where ever he has played in the collegiate level(played at a Austin Tx college before playing at Auburn.
Who knows what the future brings for Cam Newton.
Only time can tell. And Newton will have a chance to silent the doubters.

The Panthers are not going to be good this year. They lack for a lot of things. So they start out with a qb and go from there. They should have gotten Cam a tight end at least. A nice safety valve to throw to. Because Steve Smith is going to see double coverage.
