I would think about now Mr. France and company has to be thinking if they need to stop all the -wild wild west -type of racing before it gets totally out of hand.

I understand there is an upside to all that carnage, it helps the ratings, folks are talking about it on Tweeter, Facebook and sports center had a great segment on the Darlington race.

All good for the sport but when it starts to look like a comedy of errors it actually diminishes it's credibility.

Here are some of the incidents that happened that make the event look like a joke:

1.  A gas man, can and all, gets dragged like a rag doll half way out the pit. (this happens just about every week)

2. A driver almost runs over his own crew man, the crew member was on the ground in front of the car with his legs up in the air.

3. A parked ,unmanned race car took off and hit the wall. (Harvick's car was pushed by Kyle) thank God it hit the wall and not some track workers.

4. Last week Newman taunted Juan Pablo by steering the car towards Juan as he was walking towards his hauler.

We can keep on going but you get the point, I'm sure some of you will say that's part of everyday racing, I don't agree, all those incidents may be due to NASCAR's loosening of the strings that control the sport.

"Have at it boys" is in danger of becoming a world with no rules. We could say the patients are about to take over the insane asylum.

NASCAR needs to revisit the "have at it boys" philosophy.

As always this is just a fans opinion and from what I understand everybody has one and I thank God for that.

Enough said.

There is a circus lately, but people need to realize there are more "Clowns" in the show than just Kyle Busch and Juan Pablo Montoya. Many other guilty parties out there, but the "fans" refuse to see it.

Seriously folks, this is VERY akin to a circus.

Same cast of characters week after week

"train" pulls into town on thursday or friday and sets up the tents and sideshows

Main Event three ring circus Saturday night or sunday.

Teardown, move on to the next town.

Heros and Villians

death defying acts of bravery

even skankly clad women in the sideshow at times

Is that not a travelling Circus?
