I don't want to hear how good the Red Wings are. I want an explanation as to why a team that has a chance to eliminate their opponent at home in the playoffs has one of their worst periods in the 3rd.

After going up by 2 goals for the second time in the game, not only did they immediately give up a goal(for the second time), they gave up 3 straight goals. This is why this team will never win the cup. They don't want to, they're not interested enough. Supposed star Patrick Marleau has looked like #@$%^! the whole series. I don't want to hear about injuries, or someone in his family is sick or whatever. If you can't handle the pressure, retire or ask to be traded to a team that never makes the playoffs.

This team likes to celebrate after scoring. For like the next five minutes. that's why they have a bad habit of being scored on right after scoring. Total lack of effort. They looked completely different in the 3rd from the first two periods, which they controlled. In the 3rd they looked like a bad team being manhandled by a much better team.

So even though Joe Thornton is finally playing like a star is supposed to, he won't get a cup, because the rest of the team doesn't care.
