Maybe then he will step up and give a significant suspension and fine to the the thugs that are invading the NBA.
Nothing wrong with leaning a body on someone but "Clothe-Lining" another player in my opinion is criminal behavior and the work of a coward.
That happened the other day to Jose Barea, his only crime was that he was having one hell of a game off the bench for Dallas.
Mr. Artist, the Lakers great, decided to try to hurt him, and I say -hurt him- because when you see the replay there was no other reason to put out that arm.
That move can seriously hurt or paralyze someone by breaking their neck, ask your doctor if you don't believe it.
These players are fast and powerful man, they hit with lots of force and can definitely do lots of damage.
Artest got one game suspension, one has to question how serious the NBA is about protecting the players who play the game hard but with respect for others.
Sunday, Jose Barea once again was the target of a- hit job- he took an elbow to the ribs as he was going for a layup, Jose was unprotected, with his arms up in the air and Mr. Bynum decided to give him a cheap KO shot.
Mr. David Stern needs to get serious about making sure the players understand that this behavior is not acceptable in the NBA.
The NBA should not wait until they have to get someone off the floor in a stretcher paralyzed or worse yet killed.
There should be a long suspension and a big fine for this kind of behavior, Mr. Stern you need to put a stop to this now before is too late.
As always this is a fans opinion and from what I understand everybody has one and I thank God for that.
Enough said.

If they want to act that physical, they need to go play hockey. The Lakers are a group of classless thugs, I'd expected better than that. SORE LOSERS. They got desperate because they were literally HUMILIATED by the Dallas Mavericks. This out-humiliates top seeded San Antonio getting taken out the 8th place team ( which also happened to the Mavs in '07).
Also showed total disrespect for their coach.
