| 12:40 PM ET 05.19 | For those who thought the trade that sent Perkins from the Celtics to OKC was good for OKC are wrong . He is no threat offensively and with such a young team it throws off their rhythm on defense when he loses his composure trying to rough up the opposing players . He is not capable of controlling his thuggish style of physical play when he's pushing and throwing elbows causing and getting stupid technical fouls . This young team loses focus when it takes him off the floor . He was ok with an old experience team like Boston who knew how to keep him focus but OKC has no one to keep him in check . His style of play will hurt them in this series OKC is going fishing .

OKC could very well lose the series but its not because of Perk. Dallas is a very good team and as you said OKC is very young

To be successful in the playoff you need to have a big presence and Perk provides that. It also usually takes more than half a season to get acclimated to your new teammates

Yet the Thunder have had a lot of success in the playoffs. Boston needed Perkins and it was one of the reasons, Shaq's injury not helping, that they lost to the Heat.

I would completely diasagree with that. Perkins has been quite instrumental for OKC to be this far. he crashes the boards and also take much of the defensive pressure off of Durant and he clogs the lane. just look at where Boston now without Perk.
