South Side born and raised....

Ozzie and Co. are stuck in a rut - I'm looking at a .500 team in a down year in the American League and a new, much more boring manager in the near future- and who gives a flying **** about the minor leaguers on the North Side?

 In the meantime, my hoops hopes are being dashed against the rocks that are LeBron, DeWayne cHris - It feels like the 70s with Butterbean, Stormin',  Sloan and the Jet vs. Kareem or Wilt all over again - great team, but up against the irresistable force

 The Hawks? Got over the hump and won the Cup, then found out it wasn't far over the cliff from the top.... at least Toews got what Bobby and Stan never did - but it still sucks..

And the Bears? Mr. Sid Luckman STILL holds the records for a single season and career at QB - athought the record for bnig brass ones is all McMahon's - now, as to our current situation - well, see below...

Seems like it may just be time for me to head home, cruise up to Division and see if they still serve ice cold Old Style in small glasses with a really bad shot of bourbon back. It never has been awful to be a Chicago sports fan - we've had little victories and great ones as well - but when we raise our eyes and hope for something better

I mean Cleveland even got the #1 and 4 picks - and the Indians are still doing well!
