Yankees and Johan Santana

    I don' think that they should get Johan Santana because he is 28 years old and is slowly getting worse, not by much, but he is still good. They would be giving up one of the premier prospects, Ian Kennedy is a great pitcher with good mechanics and has at least 15 good years left to Santana's slowly decreasing 10 years. Hughes has even more upside than Kennedy with great pitches and mechanics and a good 15-20 years and that game he pitched against the Rangers - the no-hitter - for 6 innings was phenomenal. One of those two and melky cabrera is not that fair a trade from my perspective.

He might be young but so are these phenomenal prospects that you have to give up to get him and then you have to sign him to an extension it is too much to give up for him.
