You can feel the pain in his voice as Pippin answered a question about who is the better player, Jordan or James ,here is his answer:
"Jordan is probably the greatest scorer to play the game" but James "may be the greatest player to ever play the game."
OUCH OUCH HURTFULL....
It's obvious that Pippin is still hurts from being considered the second banana in Chicago and maybe not getting all the props he thought he should of got.
The shame of it all is that Pippin was a great player, but his stature in the game, in my opinion, keeps on lowering every time he makes a -sour grapes- type comment.
As a fan I personally lost all respect for this player when he benched himself in a close game because Phil Jackson called a play to get the ball to Toni Kukoc for the last shot.
According to a published report Pippins quote was -I'm tired of this-
Maybe Mr. Pippin should look at the rings he got at home and sit and reflect on why he got them and enjoy his luck rather than be so bitter.
JUST SAYING..

Scottie has always been a little jealous of MJ.

James has a looonngggg way to go to get to MJ's level. and i don't think the two should be compared until James actually wins a ring (several of them actually).

I think people forget that pippen was talking about in the future, not right now the one thing I do wish is that pippin would have had to guard Jordan in their primes because I'd like to see how that would go down.

So your opinion of someone lowers when someone speaks their mind? strange
Also, as far as this "refusing to take the court". He wasn't even going to be on the court he was supposed to be the inbounds passer. You think MJ or any other MVP candidate would accept being the inbounds guy with the game on the line? Doubt it

So you are defending Pippen's refusal to go into the game? There is no excuse. Its a team game, no matter how special Scottie thought he was.

They won the game, Scottie would never have been on the floor he was supposed to inbound it with a little over a second left. Phil never should have put Scottie in that situation. I'm not saying what he did was right, but i also believe that Phil should not have been surprised that a top 3 player in the league wanted to be at the very least on the court or be in consideration for taking the last shot.
