Kasey Kahne has signed with a new sponsor for next year.

Farmers Insurance has agreed to a 22 race, 13 million dollar

deal for the #5 in 2012

Stewart-Hass Racing has canned Bobby Hutchens as the

Team Director of Competition. Matt Borland the present

Technical Director is taking over for Hutchens. Is this a

sign of problems with SHR. Hutchens was with Childress for

20 years previously.

Mikey Waltrip Racing has changed the crew chief on the

#56 of Martin Truex Jr.  Pat Tryson is out and Chad Johnston

steps into the job.  Wasn't Tryson with Kurt Busch before?

Is Farmers Insurance going to the #5 at HMS .... more of a sign of Danica coming to NASCAR ... sounds like at replacement for the 20 or so races of GoDaddy.com Sponsorship to me ...
no other HMS cars #24, #48, or #88 need a sponsor for next year, that I know of ....

Danica to Stewart-Haas, in the #7, buying the number from Robby Gordon who I think is going back to IRL/Indy cars next year, seems uninterested in NASCAR these days, and the top 35 in points coming from Tony Stewart, who will use his past championships to get into races if need be. ..

Just a Wild Guess .... No facts ....

Nova I think you have something there about the Princess. I was thinking the same thing about the Go Daddy sponsorship.

Wasn't Tryson with Kurt Busch before? ... YES, left Penske at the end of 2009, to join with Martin Truex Jr. from DEI at MWR .... 22nd in points in 2010, after 13 races still 22nd in points this year ....

I think this is just teams shaking things up to get a spark going. Nothing to see here folks, move along! LOL

And I still don't see Danica ready for Cup.

That's for sure. It's amazing what money and sponsorship will do. I really don't think she will be in Cup next year, maybe in 2013.

So, where does this leave Mark Martin?

Driving the Red Bull TOY ? ....

At the start of the season was thinking Roush might move Trevor Bayne, who is under contact at Roush to the #6 UPS next year, but now with David Regan driving much better this year, do not see that. ... and then Mark Martin, at 53 years old going back to semi-retired, driving part time in the #21 Wood Brothers car.

;) NOVA

That is a very likely scenario.

How many rocking chairs has he got now?

We should just chage his name to "The Possum" cause he don't need your rockin' chair!

What makes you think they're interest in results? Just air time and exposure. She'll do real well in cup for her sponsor.

This is very true for any high profile driver. But if you noticed during the Nationwide race Saturday she didn't quite get the TV exposure she was given in the previous races this season. Of course he sponsor wasn't Go Daddy Saturday night either...
