KenL says, "Not a keeper league just trying to prepare for the play-offs. Points for receptions. "
The trade is
I have to say, this is a terrible trade! You have the better QB and the better WR and then you throw in an extra big play WR for a down grade?
QB comparisons- I truly believe that Kurt Warner is worlds better than Carson Palmer. First of all, the Bengals are out. They have no chance and could start trying out new things for next year. Palmer may have the better weapons, but
A. His weapons are not that much better (Boldin, Fitzgerald, and Bryant Johnson are one of the best corps in the NFL)
B. Palmer has way too many mistakes to lead a fantasy team. He will have about 22 picks this year which could end up leading the NFL! Warner is better with the ball and is more talented as a QB.
Warner came out last week and passed for nearly 500 yards and his only problem is his lack of touchdowns which I believe will turn around soon.
Next is Roy Williams to Laveranues Coles which is a rip-off. The only thing Coles has had going for him this year is touchdowns. 43 catches for 529 yards and six TDs. Those numbers are absolutley terrible. I go by a line that touchdowns will come and go, but a good fantasy player will always have the yards. Coles never has the yards and if he doesnt have a touchdown he will most likely get 2 or 3 points and I doubt he will have over 800 receiving yards this year. To throw Javon Walker in there is just crazy!
