To me this apology sounded like a scripted production from a B movie, it sounded disingenuous.
Here is the first part of it:
''I say sorry to all the Buckeye nation and all the Buckeye fans across the country,'' Pryor said. ''I never meant to hurt anybody directly or indirectly with my conduct off the field and I am truly sorry.''
Really, are we to believe Terrelle didn't know he was doing something wrong, are we to believe he didn't understand that if he got caught it would hurt not only the football program but the reputation of one of the top colleges in the country.
I don't believe it, he is sorry because he got caught, funny how people get a conscience as soon as that happens.
Here is the apology to coach Tressel:
"In terms of coach Jim Tressel, a special shoutout,'' Pryor said. ''I'm sorry for what all went down and I apologize with all my heart. I love you just like a father. You taught me a lot and I apologize for putting you in a situation and taking you out of a job and place that you loved to be. I regret the fact that you're not there any more and I regret the fact that I'm not there any more.''
A "special shoutout" are you kidding me , the guy lost one of the best jobs in the nation because of Mr. Pryor, but he's going to give him a "shoutout" because, you know, coach Tressel is now one of the boys, maybe he will become part of the entourage and hang out.
Here is the one that absolutely kills me "I love you just like a father" yea, lets review that, I personally, and can probably speak for most folks, don't lie to my family, you know why, because of a very simple reason -I LOVE THEM-
Just an old concept, if you love someone and respect them you don't do anything to hurt them.
Just saying.
Look, I understand coach Tressel is as much to blame as Terrelle but the Ohio State University brass should of seen this coming.
I live in Big Ten territory so I fallowed the whole recruiting circus on Mr. Pryor, and I said circus because that was what it looked like, press conferences, last minute announcements and the Columbus media hopping to get the next-next.
Well it didn't turn out as predicted, three years later OSU has no national championship, no coach and an uncertain future.
The next-next left town with as much fanfare as he came in, is a good thing Ohio is accustomed to folks hanging them out to dry, remember Art Modell (Browns) and of course LeBron James.
Good bye Mr. Pryor, a Cleveland Brown you will never be, that you can take to the bank.
As always this is just a fans opinion and from what I understand everyone has one and we can all be thankful for that.
Enough said.

I dont buy his apology.....but I'm not a Buck-eye fan....it's them who are affected by his actions!!!
There is no question that major changes need to come to college sports in the form of paying all athletes, which would eliminate most of these situations.....
....however, rules are rules & Pryor was all over Reggie Bush & the punishment to USC.....be careful when you point the finger, (i.e Paul Dee @ Miami)!!!!
