| 05:14 PM ET 12.02 | The Cleveland Arena Football franchise has already proved they do not care about Cleveland. The ownership group (Bernie Kosar and some other fogeys) has chosen the SAME NAME for the team that they had while in Las Vegas. (By the way, who moves from Vegas to C-town?) The same name, after promising that they would hold a name the team contest. I heard Cleveland Bulldogs would be the name, in part homage to the Browns, and part to the old Canton Bulldogs. That would be much better, especially for Cleveland. The Gladiators have done a good job signing free agents, including QB Raymond Philyaw, WR Cornelius Bonner, and former NFL player and FSU star Peter Warrick (remember him?) But still, having the same name, colors, and virtually same logo-they changed the G to a C- is showing little respect for Cleveland. Some better names: Cleveland Bulldogs; Cleveland Steel, Ohio Red Dogs; Cleveland Thunderbolts; Lake Erie Bruisers; Cleveland Pit Bulls; the list goes on. Leave a comment picking your favorite.
