I know a number of us like the night races.. I just wish I had the stamina to see through to th end many times.
Daytona, at night under the lights, is just a special, enjoyable night for me. Yeah.. the racing the last few years has just been plain WEIRD. For a few years we had nothing but a single file all drawn out until the last 20 laps as everyone was afraid of the "Big One" and it was boring as could be. Now we got the two-car hookups that no one can tell who the heck is actually good or bad, but we do know that sooner or later, somebody is going to push their dancing partner on the wrong side of the back panel and they go spinning.
Still, for me, an enjoyable evening. I hope.

I like the night races best during football season. First, I usually forget it's on Saturday night until the last minute or after the race has started. And it give me a 3 to 4 hour hole in my Sunday! LOL I'm getting too old and it's too hot to be outdoors on Sundays! LOL

There's nothing like being at the track for a night race. When I go to Richmond for the Sept. race, the lights reflecting of the cars is great. It has day races beaten by a mile.

gotta agree.. something special about richmond under the lights.
Kinda miss whatever the old sealer they put on that track was that created the unusual yellow smoke on the burnouts.

I like the night races also......Daytona is my favorite track........but I like variety....so I am glad that there are some night races, but happy that not all of them are.
I would love to see Jr nail this one with JJ pushing him across the finish line....JJ owes him one LOL

Trevor Bayne drives for Roush in Nationwide and Roush affiliated Wood Brothers in Cup. What about David Ragan? Isn't his contract up this year too? While he has had a surge in his career recently, if he looses UPS as a sponsor Bayne would probably be a better pick for the seat to draw in sponsors for both the 6 AND 17, and possibly the 99 if Alfec leaves.
