Is ESPN turning into the Bill Gates (think Microsoft, or as we say in the bizz..Microcrap) of sports reporting, and thus evolving into a sports monopoly that will ruin sports media forever. Gone are the days of equal sharing (or as close to it as it was) amongst the networks, and now welcome to the guy(s) who can single handily take over sports in the not to distant future. Look no further than ESPNs' attempt(s) to buy out the Olympics, and it's recent acquisitions of MNF and now Wimbledon to name just a few. Will you be happy that in the not to distant future, your going to have to BUY your sports entertainment through cable, rather than the glory days of free TV. What's your opinion?
