They are the bullies on the block, running up the score in every week of the season, with an exception of their last two games. Maybe it's for Brady to break every quarterback record for a season that he can. And maybe if other teams don't want the Pats to run up the score against them, they should tighten up their defense a little bit(or a lot).
To dub this season "perfect" for the Pats if they do have a perfect record come season's end would be out of line. The controversial video taping of the Jets' play-calling in Week 1 should've, in my opinion, drawn more of a punishment to the team as a whole. Bill Belichick was not fined enough, and at least that win in Week 1 should've been confiscated. On the flip side, there are certainly people who agree with the amount of punishment issued to the Patriots, and I can't change the amount of punishment or the opinions of those people. If there was more punishment, there would be people on the other side saying that too much punishment was given out.
All the controversy having to do with the video taping and how long it's been going. The talk about the Patriots running up the score. Their relatively poor outings against the Eagles and the Ravens, considering those teams' records(5-7 and 4-8, respectively). All these things don't help define perfection in my dictionary.
